Please read what some of our students have said about the Dog Grooming Master Classes they have benefited from:

“…..It was at about this stage that I purchased Philip's DVD's. What a breath of fresh air they are. Philip is friendly and informative, the accompanying music is catchy and there is even some humour injected every now and then. Most of my questions have now been answered effectively and I have found that some of the things I had learnt through my own trial and error were in fact right! I found myself able to take on board a lot of what Philip says because he takes the trouble to explain why something is done in a certain way, rather than just making a statement saying that 'this is done like this' without giving a reason.

Thanks to Philip I now feel much more confident in my revised trimming technique. My dog certainly looks better and I feel much more confident in the way he looks.”

Mrs. R. Parker

“I have been showing and trimming for over 25 years.

It was a spur of the moment thing to buy both last week!! [Lamb Trim and Puppy Pants] I'm glad I did as I have learnt a couple of things, although I knew most of it - you can always learn more can't you? I think it is one of the best video/dvd I have got, and I think I have them all over the years.”

Mrs. J. Webb

“I saw the advert in Dog World - as soon as I did I sent details to a couple of people who have bought my puppies and then sent for one myself. Both of them are great - well presented and so useful - in fact I would recommend to anyone who grooms for show or otherwise - very clear…. I look forward to the next one”

Mrs. V Beck

“I had been looking for a DVD or Video to teach me how to trim my toy poodle puppy as my previous groomer had retired. I got your name from the breeder of my puppy ..I have looked at the DVD and find it excellent and I am sure in time I will have a very beautiful (even more beautiful than she is now) white toy poodle.”

C. Lavin

“There are one or two more people I must recommend the dvds to - these are so entertaining to watch - I took one to bed and kept watching the wrapping of the coat to get it in my mind to be just right! …also my friend who has one of my poodles who bought the dvd also put her dogs topknot up as near to how Phillip does it as poss. and she was really pleased with herself! I love all the fun bits in the DVD as well.”

Mrs. V. Beck

“I have got the DVD and it is brilliant, just what I wanted. …The interviewer was good too. She asked some of the question that I would have done and I thought that it was a very good way to do it, like he was explaining it to her in the same way he would have been explaining it to me, if I been there.”

C. Shubrook. (Portugal)

“My friend had already got the pet trim one and said it was great. We knew it would be as many years ago we went to a seminar run by the Poodle Club of Scotland where Philip did a demonstration which was most helpful.

I have just grown my lion trim bitch back into puppy pants as is the fashion and didn't make a very good job of it but I can see exactly what I have done wrong now since seeing the DVD. I am keeping my dog in lion trim though and my standard puppy will probably be going into continental when she is old enough so I will definitely be ordering the Lion etc one when it is out.”

A. McCluskey

“God this is going to sound sad.. but I watch it every night in bed .. My groomer recently announced she was retiring due to ill health, so need to get confident again , I have done Henry a couple of times he has a beautiful cut and was worried when I had to do it first time, I used Jackie Ransoms book, and I was literally doing Henry by the book .. poor thing it was ... to do his bottom area turn the page now!.. And a bonus for me was the clipper /scissor finish, I have always scissored so it was good to see how to take a Bichon shorter with the same kind of look. You have created a great product, I also like the BFR bit with Joan and Derek ( a lovely couple) The poem Joan read is actually on our homepage.”

Helen (owner/moderator of www.bichonbanter.co.uk)

“As I said I would definitely recommend the DVD found it very useful…. I have been grooming now since December and I have a regular 4 Bichons whom I groom every 6 weeks, one lady had 3 Bichons so I scissored one and clipped the other although the recommend clipper blade as advised by Zoe, I used a larger clipper. I use the Aesculap and use 12" instead of 9".... I am going to try to scissor the legs and chest as shown by Zoe after she clipped her Bichon to see what this like. I was shown only slightly different and I now think that the way Zoe does the neck is far better way than how I was show.”

Michelle (member of Bichon Banter)

“Thank you for the prompt delivery of "The Bichon Frise Master Class" DVD and I am pleased to advise that I found the quality and content of the product both excellent and interesting. The sections on "Show trimming" and "Pet trimming" clearly detailed the tools and procedures involved in achieving professional quality grooming of the Bichon. I would recommend the product to anyone interested in the breed and the specialist grooming requirements.”

Pat Walters

“I am delighted with the two DVDs I received from you.

I bought a Miniature Poodle Puppy from Mrs Val Beck of Ashford, Kent, her prefix is "Maldavale" and she thought I would be able to learn how to clip the puppy for showing with the help of your DVDs. The puppy is ten weeks old, I need to check the DVD to make a note of the equipment I require. I can manage an ordinary clip but I have never shown a Poodle, therefore had no idea what is required. I am sure the DVDs are going to be a tremendous help.

Thanks so much.”
